Fundraising letter |
|
A project was launched
in Spring 2009 to redevelop the Play Area on the
Village Recreation Ground to provide a new enlarged ,
re-equipped, and landscaped play area for over 1000
village children and young people to use and enjoy. This
would replace a dated and ageing playground which
currently provides pay equipment for younger children
only.

Jennings OBE opens the rec. |
|
Pat Jennings OBE was in Histon and
Impington for the grand opening of the new Parish Council facilities
on the recreation ground.
A superb day of entertainment in and around the new recreation
centre and the grand marquee made the historic event a roaring
success
