On a glorious sunny morning nearly 200
runners took part in the Fifth Impington 5K Fun Run on a
course starting from Histon & Impington Recreation
Ground and then following farm treks around Chivers
Farms before returning back to the Recreation Ground.
This year’s race entry was over double than that in
2007.
Pre race warm up exercises were provided
by Jan Watt from Histon Hobblers and the race was
started by Steve Fallon manager of Histon Football Club.
This years keenly fought race saw three
young teenagers first home with Luke Scott leading the
way;

The new category for 2008 of the fastest
under 11 and parent was won by James and Julie Tapley.
